The Patriot Guard- West, Tx Memorial Service

At some point in all of our lives we experience "something" that is so emotional and moving that it becomes difficult to put our feelings to words.  On Thursday April 24, 2013 I attended the West, TX memorial services for the first responders of the fertilizer plant explosion with The Patriot Guard Riders.  Its difficult to even know where to start this post because of my emotions.

  1. Scott, my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting your wife at the FW Harley breast cancer relay last week. She gladly shared your blog card with us and told us a little about your riding history. She is a sweet lady that obviously loves you. She was hoping to introduce us to you but we had to leave before you got back from the ride. We do however look forward to meeting you in the future. We are not HOG members but are considering joining, especially if all the members are as friendly as her.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Patriot Guard. My husband is a vet; you have no idea what a difference the guard makes at funeral's and home comings. Too many civilians take the sacrifice that has been made for granted. May God Bless you for your willingness to help.
